AiLog Privacy Policy
Last Updated: [2025-06-18]
APPSHIN ("we," "our," or "us") recognizes the importance of your privacy and is committed to complying with applicable privacy laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy clearly explains how information is collected, used, and shared within the AiLog app.
Important Note: This app does not provide user registration or login functionality. Therefore, we do not collect or store any directly personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or any other direct identifiers.
1. Information We Collect
Given that AiLog does not require user accounts or logins, our data collection is limited to non-personally identifiable information and data related to your in-app subscriptions.
- Subscription Information: When you make an in-app subscription purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). We receive transaction identifiers and subscription status updates (e.g., whether your subscription is active or cancelled, its renewal date) from these platforms to manage and verify your subscription. We do not directly process, store, or have access to your payment card details. All payment information is handled securely by Apple and Google.
- Usage Data (Non-Identifiable): We may collect anonymized and aggregated data about how the app is used, such as app launches, duration of use, and general feature usage. This data is collected to understand user behavior, improve app functionality, and identify potential issues. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Device Information (Non-Identifiable): We may collect non-identifiable technical information about your device, such as device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (which are usually pseudonymous and not linked to your identity). This helps us ensure app compatibility and optimize performance.
- Crash Logs: In the event of a crash or error, we may collect crash reports that contain technical information about the incident (e.g., app version, device type). These reports are anonymized and used solely for debugging and improving app stability.
2. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used solely for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Manage Subscriptions: To verify your active subscription, manage renewals, and provide you with access to premium content or features.
- To Improve and Maintain the App: To analyze usage patterns, identify popular features, fix bugs, enhance user experience, and ensure the app's stability and performance.
- For Analytics: To understand general trends and statistics about app usage (in an anonymized form).
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade any information we collect. Information is shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- With App Store Platforms: We share subscription-related information (transaction IDs, status) with Apple and Google as necessary for managing your purchases and their billing systems.
- With Third-Party Service Providers: We may use third-party analytics services (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics) to help us understand app usage and improve the app. These providers access anonymized and aggregated data only to perform their services for us and are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our users.
4. Data Retention
We retain the non-personally identifiable and subscription-related data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. As we do not collect PII, there's no personal data to directly remove upon user request. Subscription management (cancellation, refunds) is handled directly by Apple and Google.
5. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is entirely secure.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The App relies on third-party services like Apple App Store and Google Play Store for in-app purchases and may utilize third-party analytics services. This Privacy Policy only applies to our app. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
